Lee lives in Devon and was a serving Royal Marine for 24 years. The <a href=\"https:\/\/old.leespencer.co.uk\/auto-draft\/\">Row2Recovery<\/a>\u00a0team of four injured veterans had just 3 legs between them. In February 2016, some 46 days, 6 hours and 49 minutes later they rowed into Antigua and the record books as the worlds first\u00a0physically disabled crew of four to row any ocean.<\/p>\n<p>Following this, Lee became the world&#8217;s first physically disabled person to row from mainland Europe to mainland South America solo and unsupported. Lee Spencer,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/old.leespencer.co.uk\/the-rowing-marine-a-solo-adventure-the-second-atlantic-crossing\/\">The Rowing Marine<\/a>, broke the able bodied record by an astonishing 36 days and also broke the record for the longest solo and unsupported ocean row by a physically disabled person, a total of 3 Guinness World records.<\/p>\n<p>Lee&#8217;s next challenge is an Amazonian\u00a0kayaking trip with <a href=\"https:\/\/old.leespencer.co.uk\/force-of-nature-amazonian-kayak-august-2020\/\">Forces of Nature<\/a> traversing the South American continent from Nauto (Peru) through the Amazon basin in Brazil to the Atlantic coast.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_testimonial author=&#8221;Lee Spencer&#8221; quote_icon_color=&#8221;#00463c&#8221; quote_icon_background_color=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.0.1&#8243; author_text_color=&#8221;#00463c&#8221;]I don\u2019t believe anyone should be defined by something they can\u2019t do or their limitations.
